4 Month Update

      

Ella Kate, you are 4 months old! The last month has been full of fun new adventures! 

~You are 13 lbs. 4 ounces. 

~You are in the 50th percentile for your weight. 25th percentile for your height.  

Its ok... I'm short too :) 

~ You are still wearing 0-3 month clothes. I have bought you a few 3-6 month pajamas because you are too long for some of your 0-3 month footsie pajamas! 

~ You are still wearing size one diapers- but I am pretty sure one day soon we will go up a size. We still have a few packages left that were presents from a shower - so I am hoping to use those before we make the switch! 

~You started sitting up in your bumbo chair! You look like such a big girl when you are sitting up! It has also been a big help so I don't have to hold you all the time ;)

~ You saved your laugh for both your Momma and Daddy to hear together for the first time! 

Thank you! (Besides that one time at the zoo... But we weren't there in person!!) 

The day Daddy got home from Canada you were laughing non-stop. Woof! 

~ You rolled over for the first time from your back to your stomach! Gigi and Grandpa were here to see it happen!! Such an awesome sight to see! I am a proud mom! 

~ You went on your first Road Trip!!! We went to Arkansas to visit the family. 7 hours in the car and you were so good!  We laughed, played, read books and took nice long naps! 

You are one of my favorite travel buddies. 

~ You met Lilah and Bliss,  your beautiful cousins for the first time! They love Ella-Kater! They wanted to hug you and play with you! You girls will have so much fun together as you grow up! 

~ You met your great-grandparents on your Daddy's side for the first time, too! 

 They all love you to pieces!! 

You loved rocking on the swing with Great-Grandpa Leonard!

~ You have started putting EVERYTHING in your mouth! But really- you keep you hands in your mouth so often I'm not sure how anything else can get in! 

~ Along with the hands came the drool! I don't know if you are teething officially, but something is definitely moving around in there! You love your little frozen teething toy! 

~ You celebrated your first Easter! I should have a picture here... But I didn't take any with my phone!! We did however take pictures with a real camera, so maybe one day I can edit this post and insert pics! 

~Your favorite book is called Stinky Face! We read it everyday and you smile at all the pictures and at the words as I read to you! Maybe one day you will have the same reaction to other books.

 I have this one memorized already! 

Ella Kate, you are getting so big and you are advancing right along! I am so proud to be your Momma!
